The bulk of First Factory work involves .NET (in all forms) and SQL server. Many of our clients value our expertise in these fields. When we say we know .NET and SQL server inside out, we really do. Our founder Jason, has several published books to his name exploring these areas.
Constant learning is heavily ingrained within the First Factory culture. Technology moves swiftly, but so do we. It took us just 3 months to launch our first app when the app store was released. Constantly learning enables us to improve the service we offer to you. It’s no wonder we have acquired a vast skill set over the last decade.
Recently, we have been busy satisfying demand for Windows Azure and Windows Media Service solutions. Mobile is, of course, another area of expertise. When it comes to app building, we have experience deploying to a plethora of devices.

In Jason’s own words, “it has to be all about the client - what do they need to achieve, what limitations are they operating in and how can we best serve them with the right solution?” Jason has extended that philosophy now throughout First Factory, which is ranked as one of the most desirable development agencies to work for in Costa Rica.
Jason has an M.S in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, a B.S. in Computer Science with Applied Mathematics from the University of Albany and an A.A.S Data Processing degree from Farmingdale University. He is currently working towards his MBA from Penn State University.
The First Factory HQ is based in NY, USA. We also have a second office in Heredia, Costa Rica. Our 20+ team are split between the two locations and the minimal 1-2 hour time zone difference means that both offices can be in constant communication.
The First Factory culture is incredibly special. We hire exceptionally talented developers with ‘nothing is impossible’ attitudes. We thrive on solving complex problems and that inquisitive approach to life means that our team are constantly learning and adding to their already exceptional range of talents.
